Barcelona, April 26, 2016 (La Vanguardia) – The platform MyTwinPlace has booked a funding round of 750.000 euros. The round is led by Inveready, with other significant investors being Sabadell Venture Capital, and Business Angel Vincent Rosso (cofounder of BlaBlaCar).
According to the firm’s press release, this new injection of capital will allow the company to accelerate the growth of the company, which allows travelers with hosts in more than 160 countries to exchange houses without any money exchange.
MyTwinPlace’s CEO, jean-Noël Saunier, explained that the company wants to consolidate their presence in countries where they are already strong, such as: Spain, France, Italy, the US and the UK.
Furthermore, the platform highlights that the interest of these investors, validates the power of the business model of MyTwinPlace, which currently accounts for more than 35.000 travelers, that share their houses safely.
“Proposes a communal and innovative approach to the home sharing sector, in which members can save a significant amount of money thanks to their secondary houses; the market is expected to grow to a thousand million nights by 2025”, comments Rosso.
